Aubameyang set to leave Arsenal
Arsenal striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, is desperate to leave club, along some other team-mates, according to the UK Independent.
The Gunners are set to make Mikel Arteta their new manager after the Spaniard agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal.
Arteta’s first job will be to convince some of the club’s biggest players, including Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Granit Xhaka, to buy into his project and commit their long-term futures to Arsenal.
Aubameyang is unsettled at Arsenal and considering a move away when the transfer window opens in January.
He has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent months and stalled on contract talks, as he is unhappy with the current situation.
The Gabon international’s contract expires in 18 months, meaning the Gunners may be forced to sell now for cash or risk losing him on a free.
